Benitez outlines how Newcastle can beat Manchester United

Ahead of Saturday’s premier League clash, Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez has revealed how his players can end José Mourinho’s men unbeaten run this season.

According to the Spaniard, his players must be at their best if they are to end Red Devil’s unbeaten home record in the English Premier League.

Manchester United have won all of their eight fixtures at Old Trafford this season.

Benitez said during his pre-match press briefing, “They have so much quality in the team.

“They keep the ball, they pass the ball, they create chances, they score goals and they don’t concede too much.

“We have to be strong in defence and when we regain the ball, try and create something on the counter attack.

“They have a team that can compete in every competition. And normally, the fans are demanding that they have to be at the top, and they have to win the Premier League, the Champions League, the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup – everything.

“But, it is normal in a club that has this potential. I think, just yesterday, we were talking about the profit they have had already. It is always massive and they have to compete for everything.

“In terms of points, I would have been happy winning against Bournemouth and maybe not winning against Manchester United.

“But, now that we have lost to Bournemouth, we will try to win against Manchester United.

“We know it is difficult, because they are a good team and they have very good players, so we will have to do almost everything right, perfect, to make sure we can get three points.”

The issue emanated from the Caroline Danjuma’s Instagram post, accusing Davido of being involved in Tagbo’s death. The issue seem to have been resolved by the Nigerian police, with Davido vindicated and Caroline Danjuma embracing peace. But as expected, Davido addressed the issue on his latest single, Fia. His lyrics on the song, seem to be a shade to the beautiful actress. On the song, Davido said: “Caroline save your drama I dont need it, (its) for the soap opera. Holla holla Mr. Olopa I’m not hear to cause wahala o. Hello diva save your drama, you don’t need it in your soap opera o….”

Biafra: Respect your old age – BNYL warns Lai Mohammed over comments on IPOB

Biafra Nations Youth League, BNYL, has cautioned Minister of information, Lai Mohammed, over his comments that IPOB is dead. The group warned that such declaration could lead to provocation in the South East and South South regions. Mohammed had told newsmen that “the large turnout witnessed during the election has sounded the death knell on IPOB. “I think what that proved really is that IPOB does not represent the good people of Anambra or any state in the South East. “If truly they represented the people, the IPOB propaganda about the election really showed that they are not on ground.” Reacting, BNYL Leader, Princewill Obuka, said “That old man does not know how determined the Biafrans are. He saw what happened during military raid.” “Such resistance should have told them that Biafrans, if armed, would really consume Nigeria like Kanu was saying. “He should respect his old age and turn attention to Boko Haram and Shiites”. However, the group added that its ongoing ...
