The Senate President, Bukola Saraki has said that he would review the Appeal Court judgement concerning his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), and take “appropriate action”. The Appeal Court had on Tuesday ordered that Saraki return to face trial on three of the 18 count charges preferred against him at the CCT. In his reaction to the ruling, the Senate President said the “Appellate Court only gave a summary of its decision today promising to provide the parties with Certified True Copies of the Judgment soon. “As soon as it makes the details of the judgement available, our lawyers will review the grounds of the decision and take appropriate action”.
