Chelsea is through to the last eight of this year’s Carabao Cup, after a 2-1 victory over Everton on Wednesday night. Antonio Rudiger gave the Blues the lead with his first goal for the club in the 26th minute, before Willian make it 2-0 late in the game. There was enough time for Dominic Calvert-Lewin to pull one back for the managerless Toffees. Across London, Tottenham were dumped out of the competition by city rivals, West Ham. Spurs raced into a two-goal lead, thanks to strikes from Moussa Sissoko and Dele Alli. However, Andre Ayew’s brace and Angelo Ogbonna’s goal, sealed victory for the Hammers.
