2 Lord’s Chosen pastors, others arrested for ritual killings in Imo State

A gang of ritual killers were reportedly nabbed by vigilantes in Nkwerre, Imo state on Thursday. The gang is made up of six men, two of whom are pastors of the Lord’s Chosen Catholic Charismatics Church. According to Marcel Ezenwa who shared the story on Facebook, one of the pastors was arrested by Imo State Rapid Response Squad Command while he was in church ministering to children. The gang were first busted by the vigilantee in Nkwerre through the assistance of some youth leaders before the police were invited to the crime scene in Umugara village Nkwerre to take over the case. Three of the men have been arrested while three are still at large. The ones arrested confessed to being the mastermind behind the kidnap of a 12-year-old girl from Umugara village for ritual purposes for a token of N500,000 and another N500,000 after delivery of human parts or victim. Nigerians’re not happy –Okorocha

Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, who recently created a novel Ministry of Happiness and Purpose Fulfilment in the state, has said majority of Nigerians are not happy. He said  89 per cent of Nigerians are not happy in the real sense of the word happiness. Photos: 5-year-old girl allegedly gang raped and brutally murdered in India; 16cm wooden stick inserted into her private parts

In a shocking incident, a 5-year-old girl was allegedly raped and brutally murdered on Friday at Hisar's Uklana village in Haryana, India. A wooden stick was also inserted into her private parts, reports ANI. "FIR has been registered, SIT has been formed for a thorough investigation in the case, no persons have been arrested yet," said Jitender Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Hisar. According to reports, the girl was abducted from her house at night and brutally raped. She was left to die with a wooden stick inserted into her genitals. The post-mortem confirms rape and torture, further telling that 16cm of the stick was found inside her- that damaged her uterus and intestines, reports India Today. The villagers have shut down all the shops and blocked major roads. Investigating officers have not ruled out gang rape. Forensic experts have also been roped in to carry out further investigations.

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Adamawa State, Engr. Markus Gundiri, has expressed doubt over the loyalty of Governor Jibrilla Bindow to the party following the departure of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. Davido has revealed he has no beef with anyone in the B=Nigerian music industry - He made this known after he won the Future Awards Africa Prize for Music - Wizkid also won the award the Future Awards Africa prize for young person of the year 2017 has seen Nigerian music grow at an exceptional pace all over the world. Two musicians are mainly responsible for this – Davido and Wizkid. While Davido has flourished in Nigeria and Africa, Wizkid has continued to shine outside the country. Naturally, their fans and even the musicians themselves have a rivalry with each other. However, none of them have come out to expressly say they have beef with each other – until now.
