  Photos of the lavish 25-bedroom mansion owned by President Robert Mugabe and his wife Grace have been revealed by TheZimbabwean.  Photographs of the plush palace, dubbed 'Blue Roof', show the 93-year-old tyrant immerses himself in luxury, far away from the pain and suffering felt by ordinary people in the cash-strapped nation. Information by TheZimbabwean revealed that the 25-bedroom house is valued at a whopping $10 million (N3.6billion) in Harare. It covers 44-acre grounds fenced off from the public and protected by a multi-million pound security system. Images show the extravagant property decked with marble floors, expensive chandeliers and a swimming pool. .

Few Out of 22 Ministers Turned Up for Zimbabwe Cabinet Meeting

Sources say only five Zimbabwe cabinet ministers and the attorney-general turned up for a meeting called by President Robert Mugabe as 17 others opted to attend a meeting to plan the 93-year-old leader’s impeachment. Sources said on Tuesday that the meeting is the first called by Mugabe since a military takeover on Nov. 15. Mugabe faced the start of an impeachment process later in the day as his party sought to end his nearly four decades in power. ZANU-PF plans to bring the motion in parliament after a Monday noon deadline expired for the 93-year-old leader to step down to end nearly four decades in power. Mugabe’s removal: UN, US, UK react

The United Nations, UN, United States of America and the United Kingdom have all reacted to the military coup in Zimbabwe. The military on Wednesday overthrew 93-year-old President Robert Mugabe  after seizing the National Radio Station on Tuesday. Mugabe has been in charge of the country for 37 years. The UN has consequently issued a security advisory, instructing its personnel to work from home. Some schools were closed and some students failed to sit for their final examinations, including at the University of Zimbabwe. Also, the UK foreign and commonwealth office has updated its travel advice to British nationals in Zimbabwe.
