12-year-old African Boy Trying to Cross to Spain Caught Hiding Inside a Car Dashboard (Photo)

Immigration officials were left stunned after nabbing a 12-year-old boy found curled up inside the dashboard of a car in a suspected smuggling operation. The schoolboy, believed to be from Guinea in West Africa, was hiding in a foetal position in a pair of dirty shorts. The youngster was stuffed into the tiny space between the engine and the passenger of the BMW X5. Officers found him after detecting his heartbeat using a special machine. They then reached into the dashboard with their hands at a checkpoint on the border between Morocco and Spain’s north African enclave of Melilla. The car was ripped apart to retrieve the child. The child was said to have been disorientated and suffering breathing difficulties and numbness in his limbs because of the position he had been forced to adopt. Vice President Yemi Osinbajo made a surprise stop at Ikenne market in Ogun state after attending the 75th birthday event of Reverend Adebajo in the state. The vice president, who was warmly received at the market, interacted freely with the traders and even took time out for a selfie. Buhari is Nigeria’s father of corruption – Fayose

Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose on Wednesday described President Muhammadu Buhari as ‘father of corruption’ over his refusal to petition Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Kayode Fayemi and other corrupt officials in his camp. In a statement issued by by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, the governor accused Buhari of leading a government of corrupt people and shielding his cohorts from prosecution. Yesterday Joy Ezechikamnayo took over the reins of affairs in Abia State for 24 hours on Monday December 11th.  Joy , an SS3 student and senior prefect of Intellectual Giants Christian Academy, Umuahia emerged the state one-day governor after a rigorous essay competition organized by the state government.  The 20 top performers in the essay competition were designated as follows: 1st position-Governor 2nd position - Deputy Governor 3rd position - SSG 17 others are Commissioners Today, the state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu handed over power to her. 2 Lord’s Chosen pastors, others arrested for ritual killings in Imo State

A gang of ritual killers were reportedly nabbed by vigilantes in Nkwerre, Imo state on Thursday. The gang is made up of six men, two of whom are pastors of the Lord’s Chosen Catholic Charismatics Church. According to Marcel Ezenwa who shared the story on Facebook, one of the pastors was arrested by Imo State Rapid Response Squad Command while he was in church ministering to children. The gang were first busted by the vigilantee in Nkwerre through the assistance of some youth leaders before the police were invited to the crime scene in Umugara village Nkwerre to take over the case. Three of the men have been arrested while three are still at large. The ones arrested confessed to being the mastermind behind the kidnap of a 12-year-old girl from Umugara village for ritual purposes for a token of N500,000 and another N500,000 after delivery of human parts or victim.
