For about 48 hours now, the hashtag #EndSARS has been trending on social media. The hashtag is being used by many Nigerian youths as a way to seek for the end of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigerian police. Many are also using the hashtag to share some of their encounters with SARS officials. These stories talk about how the officers often extort, beat and sometimes kill their victims. One will think being a celeb, you source of income is known and shouldn’t have to experience SARS brutality, but that is not the case.
