Woman who stabbed her husband continuously to death in Ibadan has been sentenced to 7 years imprisonment


A court in Oyo state has sentenced Yewande Oyediran to seven years imprisonment for stabbing her husband, Lowo Adelowo continuously to death in February 2016. Yewande who is a lawyer and a Staff of Directorate of public prosecution at the Ministry of Justice, Ibadan, Oyo state, stabbed her 38 year old husband to death after a domestic dispute at their Akobo estate home in Ibadan on February 2nd 2016.

After several months of trial, Yewande was this morning found guilty and sentenced to 7-years imprisonment for manslaughter. The term is to run from the day of her arrest.

Saraki appreciate President buhari for sign NEDC into law

Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for signing into law the North East Development Commission (NEDC) Bill.
